Tree

The Tree symbolizes the Tree of Life which ongoingly creates reality, sustains and nurtures all worlds in each and every moment, and directs and holds the essence of life.

Leaves

The leaves are symbolic of fertility and growth - very applicable to the doula profession!

Hearts

The heart shape is an ideograph used to express the idea of the "heart" in its metaphorical or symbolic sense as the center of emotion, and is symbolic of love and affection. The 3 hearts represent DOSA (big heart) who nurtures doulas (middle heart) who in turn nurture their clients (small heart)

The base of the tree

The base of the tree is symbolic of a strong foundation - of doulas building their business on sound business practices, recognizing that being a doula is a profession, not a philosophy.

It looks like the tree is holding a book it's reading - representing an ongoing quest for (evidence based) knowledge.
